CBPMs may produce mild side effects when starting treatment, often wearing off within hours. Common ones include nausea, headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, increased appetite and changes in heart rate. If you experience any side effects, contact your prescriber by phone or via our contact page.
CBPM oil and solid-fill capsules are for oral use. Dried flower and vape cartridges are for inhalation using a vaporising device.
Oral CBPM oil typically has a gradual effect compared to inhaled cannabis. Take your CBPM as advised by your consultant, and stay in a comfortable space for your first dose until you know how the medicine affects you.
Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery while taking CBPMs. If you feel lightheaded, dizzy, sleepy, or have double vision, do not drive. Avoid any activity that could put yourself or others at risk.
Restrictions vary by country. CBPMs are highly regulated and may not be legal to possess in some countries, even with a UK prescription. Always check destination rules in advance.
We recommend avoiding alcohol while consuming CBPMs. Combined, they can result in impaired judgement.
